Carolyn Campfield, D.M.A.
Dr. Carolyn Campfield, Director of the Voice Movement Therapy Institute, received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota. As a professional musician, Dr. Campfield has performed with the Minnesota Opera and given numerous solo recitals. She was awarded her Voice Movement Therapy practitioner credentials in 1999. Since that time, she has prepared and presented lectures and courses for several organizations including the Minnesota Jung Association, the Adler Institute, the Dance Movement Therapy Association and Columbia College in Chicago. She has also published a number of articles on Voice Movement Therapy. Dr.Campfield has an active Voice Movement Therapy Practice in Minneapolis/St.Paul where she is director of St. Paul Expressive Arts Center and is an original cast member of River's Edge Playback Theater.
